Description
The Moulin de Vertain, also known as the Moulin Blanc and the Moulin de Briques, is a unique windmill built in the late 15th century and now restored to working order. Although it resembles a tower mill on the outside, it is technically similar to a post mill in its internal construction and operation.Every year, the mill is a landmark and stopping-off point for the famous ?Paris-Roubaix? cycle race. Just a few meters from the building, you'll find the ?world's largest cobblestone? This is the work of Renaud Masquelier, artist, painter and sculptor.
